Job Description:


To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will be responsible for maintaining accurate Human Resources records, processing documentation for newly hired and rehired Staff, and providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position is also responsible for providing consultative recruitment support to Staff Directors.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Be a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture, and God's purposes in the world
  2. Ensure complete and accurate HR Information System records
  3. Provide consultative recruitment support to Staff Directors
  4. Provide administrative support for recruitment and the Human Resources team
  5. Develop technical and professional skills
  6. Establish partnerships with InterVarsity staff and supporters


  1. Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement
  2. One to three years of recruitment, administrative or other relevant work experience required
  3. Experience in recruitment and working with HR records and databases is strongly preferred
  4. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  5. Strong data entry skills required, with a high degree of accuracy
  6. Effective verbal and written communication skills
  7. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  8. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  9. Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse team environment
  10. Ability to travel as needed
