The Communications Administrative Assistant (CAA) is a member of the Communications team (COM) that is responsible for supporting the communications strategy and tasks for all of CRM. The CAA reports directly to the Director of Communications and
is responsible to monitor the day-to-day activities of the department. The CAA contributes to the accomplishment of team objectives by providing general administrative support, including management of the master project calendar as well as a variety of core
departmental tasks. This position is full-time at 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours when required for event support or other project needs.
Primarily Responsibilities include:
1. General administrative support to the Director of COM and other team members, including budget assistance and monthly expense reports.
2. Managing the master project calendar and assisting with the coordination of projects.
3. Manage and update website content.
4. Manage help desk emails from public and staff.
5. Provide COM support at events.
Qualified candidates should have prior administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit or ministry environment, project management experience is a plus. Must have excellent interpersonal, effective time management, and organizational skills with high
attention to detail and focused on the completion of assigned tasks. An effective problem solver and proficient in computer applications. As a member of the Communications Team, this person must possess appropriate verbal and written communication skills.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, an AA degree plus directly related experience may be substituted.
