Job Description:
Zebedee Systems Inc., the industry leader in South Florida providing design and permanent installations of audio, video, staging, curtains and lighting systems for Churches, Corporate Clients and Schools is looking for a Lead AV Technician to join our staff.

The ideal candidate will have good field judgment and mentoring skills to lead in all aspects of commercial Audio and Video systems installations. This individual should have a background and experience in the field operations with the ability to plan, execute and in some cases "field design" all phases of AV systems.

CTS (Certified Technologies Specialist) preferred
Communications infrastructure installation experience (fiber, copper, coax, hybrid)
Knowledge of the following:
Audio - Sound Reinforcement, Paging, Public address, Background Music, Commercial Intercom, Digital Sound Processing (tuning, balancing and gain structure)
Video - Projector technologies, Video formats, Presentation designs
RF distribution

Minimum Requirements
2 years of relevant experience in low voltage, systems installation
Excellent technical and mechanical skills, wood working a plus
Team Player with great attitude and Christian Values
Willing to train/mentor others
Solid and proven hands on abilities with good understanding of local codes and safety standards
Willing to install cables, mounts and necessary hardware for all AV jobs.
Computer skills for both hardware and software must be proficient and know their way around a PC desktop/laptop and LAN.
Clean driving record.

Work requires rigging, installation of speaker, projectors, screens, etc. pulling cables and wires, using hand and power tools and working in tight spaces. You will stand and walk for extended periods as well as climb and work on ladders and lifts. Must be able to lift and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds.
