role that creates venues for donors, volunteers and current staff to experience the excellence of God’s work through CRISTA and its ministries.
The Events and Promotions Specialist will serve as the lead for various fundraising, sales, promotional and other events taking place on and off our main campus. Venue selection, timeline creation, budget management, and ownership of all production logistics
are among the duties that will be part of this individual’s successful execution of events. This position will also direct marketing efforts for the promotion of volunteer engagement opportunities that exist within the CRISTA Ministries family.
1.Christian Commitment: Must read and agree with the CRISTA Ministries Doctrinal Statement and must be actively pursuing a Christ-centered lifestyle.
2.Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a
3.Experience: Minimum of 1 year with the following experience: •Managing event budgets and planning large scale events. •Managing volunteers in a similar role. •Organization and program development skills.
4.Other Considerations: •Flexibility in hours of work due to variability in program requirements. •Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects during periods of deadline pressure. •Exceptional written and
verbal communication skills. •Strong organizational and problem solving skills. •Ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, volunteers and donors.
5.Software and Equipment Used: Experience with standard MS Office software suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Ability to learn programs such as Photoshop, project management software,
web editor software, etc.
