To coordinate and perform marketing and recruiting activities for all programs offered in the MOL department resulting in qualified inquiries and ultimately students for the programs offered. These duties will include, but not be limited to:
o Production and oversight of promotional copy and coordination of radio, print, and other advertising media as deemed appropriate to promote the MOL programs and awareness and branding of Biola.
o Creation of promotional advertising, radio scripts, print ads, etc. in coordination with other marketing team members, director(s) and managers of MOL, and satellite site directors and staff.
o Develop relationships with additional churches/pastors and continue to build upon those relationships currently established.
o Represent MOL and BIOLA at Education and Employment Fairs throughout the area.
To research demand for additional degree or certificate offerings.
To initiate corporate and business relationships for student and faculty referrals.
To create a local, regional connection to alumni on behalf of MOL and Biola University, benefiting local programs as well as re-connecting graduates with developments and needs of Biola.
Oversee and recommend new web site content and linkages to increase inquiries.
Contact prospective speakers/resource people and secure commitments.
Supervise mailing efforts to maximize exposure to targeted audiences.
Bachelors degree with an emphasis in marketing management or adult education desired. A person of mature character. Able to take ownership of the position, and work well in a team-oriented environment including work closely with the personnel of the Adult Degree and MOL programs (and any future programs offered), and satellite sites in order to continually develop and implement innovative and effective marketing strategies resulting in increased student enrollment. Computer literacy (MS Office) skills. Minimum 3 years public relations, marketing promotions, or sales required. Evidence of goal-oriented performance.
