The Part-Time Account/Receptionist will perform accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Relies on some degree of experiences and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Primary job functions do not will require exercising some degree of independent judgment. This person will work in conjunction with the Company CPA and report to office manager or president.
This person may also be asked to greet vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors, and route incoming calls and place outgoing calls if needed.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of or ability to learn Quickbooks.
Accounting - Experience with financial transactions and preparing financial statements.
Attention to Detail - Approaches work in a meticulous, thorough, and detailed manner.
Customer Service - Personable manner on phone and when addressing clients and vendors.
Reporting Skills - Skillfully prepares statistical and written reports for management.
Deadline-Oriented - Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
Time Management - Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines.
Data Entry Management - Implements and oversees efficient data entry procedures.
Confidentiality - Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.
