Walk Thru the Bible (WTB) is seeking a Development Director who will identify, cultivate and steward relationships with current and potential major donors to provide an ever-expanding source of funds for their ministries. For 40 years WTB has been
providing transformative, tangible experiences for people around the world seeking to better understand God’s Word. The Development Director will focus on programs and initiatives to generate interest and support from current and past major donors as well
as inspiring a new generation of donors for the future. In doing so, he/she will minister to donors, helping them determine where God is leading them, and encouraging partnerships that bring them joy through their support.
The Development Director will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of relationships with major donors and other identified stakeholders to provide an ever-expanding source of funding for ministry. Through building
relationships with donors and potential donors, utilizing God-honoring practices that encourage biblical stewardship, the Development Director will secure financial support from individuals, churches, selected foundations, and others who have capacity to make
significant gifts to this work.
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years of successful fundraising experience for a philanthropic or nonprofit organization or equivalent experience in a related field such as consultative sales or territory management. A Bachelor’s
degree from an accredited college or university is required. Atlanta, Georgia is preferred but location is negotiable.
