Job Title: Vice President for Ministry Advancement
Reports to: President/CEO of I.N. Network USA
Status: Full-time
Location: I.N. Network USA Headquarters - Zeeland, MI

I. Objective

Oversee, in conjunction with President/CEO, the ministry of representing IN Network USA to individual donors, churches and other entities for the purpose of introducing the ministry and securing financial support.

II. Personal & Professional Qualities

A. An Evangelical Christian who is in agreement with IN Networks Statement of Faith.
B. Has a passion for advancing the Gospel around the world.
C. Committed to the concept of indigenous ministry.
D. Experience in cross-cultural ministry desirable
E. Ability to travel within an identified region, throughout the US, as needed, and overseas, as needed (most travel will be within the specified region of the US)
F. Is comfortable with, and understands working with, a diverse ecclesiastical network of pastors and churches.
G. Is able to make presentations to large and small audiences.
H. Is a self starter.
I. Comfortable in the fund development arena and ability to connect with a variety of donors, funding organizations and other constituents.
J. Is capable of writing funding proposals for individuals, foundations, and churches.
K. Has excellent people skills and "wears" well with people.

III. Tasks

A. Help establish, supervise and coordinate a cadre of regional ministry representatives throughout the US
B. To create a strategy to penetrate identified regions throughout the US in cooperation with the President/CEO or his designate.
C. Make calls to churches, mission committees, and individuals in an identified region (e.g., greater West Michigan)
D. Present ministry to prospective major donors
E. Speak in church services, civic clubs, schools, colleges and universities and other community organizations.
F. Establish and maintain partnerships with a minimum of four key churches and link them with our front line partners.
G. Coordinate with other I.N. Network colleagues in the home office, frontline countries and supply-line countries to implement effective national tours with I.N. Network frontline country national staff.
H. Attend board meetings when requested.
I. Complete monthly reports on activities
J. Assist in the evaluation of national tours.

IV. Ministry Performance Expectations

A. Minimum of six face to face appointments per week with pastors or donors.
B. Two full national tours per year. A full tour consists of four Sundays and three full weeks of meetings with a minimum of 25 events plus Sunday services. Tours are conducted with overseas based I.N. staff
C. Minimum of 80 sponsorships per national tour for a total of 160 sponsorships in two tours.
D. Minimum of four long term partnerships with key pastors and their churches.

Vice President for Ministry Advancement. West Michigan based, internationally focused non-profit ministry seeks an experienced person with a passion for indigenous ministry in developing countries to lead a process of church relations and ministry advancement. The person hired for this key position will work closely with the President/CEO to develop and implement a strategy that results in the establishment of effective ministry partnerships with churches, individuals and other key constituents. Experience in areas such as non-profit ministry, missions/community development, fund development or sales/marketing desired. Ability to interact with a diverse constituency and excellent public presentation skills required. Some travel required - domestically and internationally.
