Set in community, rooted in the spiritual disciplines, and comprehensively biblical, a one- or two-year His Mansion internship provides an unparalleled learning experience. Through the program, single men and women age, 18-40, have the opportunity to develop, mature, and hone their skills in the spiritual, personal, vocational, and interpersonal areas of life. Another distinction of a His Mansion internship is that instruction and application occur concurrently. In-serve classes are held on a weekly basis throughout the year. This provides a chance to apply a class on leadership skills or conflict resolution directly to a "real-life" situation. The opportunity for immediate application, and the ability to discuss the outcome in a discipleship/mentoring forum, results in deeper ownership of the material than is possible through a typical classroom setting.

Opportunities to exercise established skills and acquire new ones abound: administrative, agricultural, carpentry, office skills, counseling, discipline, electrical services, food services, maintenance, auto mechanics, plumbing, teaching, and pro-life discipleship are some of the options that may be available. Indeed, many interns clarify and/or confirm their career directions during their tenure at His Mansion. Internships are offered free of charge, including room and board, with no minimum support required. A stipend is offered to those students who need it, and help is available for those who have student loans to pay.
