Join the early learning professional teaching team at King’s Preschool; a dynamic and progressive early learning program. King’s Preschool is part of CRISTA Ministries and King’s Schools, Preschool-grade 12 Christian schools. We are looking for two lead
teachers to lead a dynamic learning environment in a preschool classroom as well as a prekindergarten classroom. The Lead Teachers will be joining a team called to serve God’s youngest children with passion and excellence. The central focus of our team is
to connect with each child and family to encourage and support them with God’s love. The Lead Teachers will teach and communicate with intention and passion and maintain a culture where all staff can thrive and grow professionally. A culture that glorifies

The Lead Preschool Teacher will create and maintain a safe, dynamic, compassionate, and positive learning environment while implementing established curriculum that supports teachers in the understanding of early education and human development, social/emotional
coaching, and ways to build solid teacher/student relationships.

or Associates Degree in Early Learning (Preschool or Early Elementary) in education, psychology, family studies or related field?
1. Christian Commitment: Demonstrate a Christian lifestyle. Active in a local church and be able to demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Education: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.
Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
3. Experience: Must have experience working with children of this age group.
4. Licensure/Certification: Must have or be willing to obtain upon hire:
Washington state required 20 hour basic training or show proof of a waiver
Infant/Child CPR and first aid
Food handlers card
Proof of negative tb test
HIV and blood borne pathogen training
Other certifications as deemed necessary by the state for work in a licensed childcare facility
5. Other Considerations:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A calm, positive demeanor is required as well as a patient child-centered temperament.
Must display a positive professional attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, students and their parents.
