The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting understanding and cooperation between Jews and Christians is seeking a Manager of Public Relations. This leadership opportunity will be responsible for creating, building and maintaining relationships with the media to generate non-paid support for IFCJ programs and events as well as working with our media agency to generate promotional support from stations and networks that carry our paid programming. This position will provide information and details on media related activities and, as appropriate, skill training that will equip staff to serve as spokespeople for the organization. Develop and oversee a PR team that will do advance planning and as well as emergency response/disaster communications. Write press releases, articles and content to be used on IFCJ websites, constituent communications and collateral materials.
We require 5 - 7 years experience in publicity and media relations with demonstrated relationships in the Christian and general media marketplaces and a Bachelors degree in Communications
