Job Description:
Oversee all aspects of the Food Service including annual 30,000 guest Dining Room, Kitchen, Purchasing as well as Summer Snack Shop (Galley) in conjunction with achieving a consistent guest satisfaction rating of 3.6 or above (on 4 point scale).
Provide excellent staff training
Ensure that employees are scheduled in a cost effective manor while
maintaining
excellent guest food service experience
Receive and communicate pertinent guest information to
department(s) affected
Ensure all health & safety regulations as mandated by law and Sandy
Cove policy
Responsible for two million dollar Food Service operating budget
Quickly & confidently responds to guest needs and emergencies in
Food Service
Work towards creating an employee team oriented learning
environment

■ A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
■ Must contain an excitement for the mission at Sandy Cove Ministries
■ Heart to serve guests and disciple staff
■ BA/BS- and or 10+ years of field experience
■ 7+ years of Food Service managerial experience
■ 5+ years of successful employee training
■ Ability to resolve conflict and make quick decisions
■ Very strong ability to communicate with department staff, cross-
departmentally as well
as with guests.
■ Knowledge of Kitchen, Dining Room and Purchasing position
responsibilities
■ Ability to manage effectively 50-100 employees
■ Proven successful experience operating department budget
■ Excellent organizational skills as well as ability to operate computers
and necessary
programs as used by Sandy Cove Ministries for the coordination of
guest information
