Camp Registrar and Program Assistant

Working as a key member of our program department team, the Program Assistants duties will include but are not limited to all aspects of camper registration, including inputting of camper registrations, balance dues, parent communication, camper housing assignments, all budget areas related to camper dues, credit card processing and other aspects of financial recordkeeping and budget tasks. Phone communication and follow-up with camper parents as well as an ability to handle difficult camper parent calls required. Responsible for many aspects of summer staff hiring including all logistical support for recruiting set-up, interview set-up, employment documentation, staff mailings, and communication, among other duties related to the hiring process. Responsible for maintaining a well organized office environment, including keeping supplies well stocked and addressing office needs for the several others in the program department.
Strong Chrisitan faith and integrity a must. Must be a team player, have excellent customer service skills and able to multitask a large diversity of responsibilities and duties on a regular basis. Good problem solver, on your feet thinker and, able to deal with challenging customers. Must have excellent computer skills with specific knowledge of FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and email, or have a strong aptitude to learn such skills. Will report directly to the Program Director, but will be at the center of many of the program staffs operations.
