Job Description:
GCSSA, formerly Greater Chicago Sunday School Association, has an immediate opening for a part-time Administrative Assistant. Job responsibilities include: personal correspondence (voice, email, postal mail), processing accounts receivable and accounts payable, data processing (mailing list, conference registrations, donations), preparation & printing of meeting and conference materials, handling scheduling and administrative details in conjunction with Executive Director, and processing mailings.

20-30 hours per week, flexible hours, some Saturdays required, additional hours possible

Desired qualifications are church teaching & discipleship ministry experience, out-going personality (a "people-person"), computer proficiency, administrative skills and experience as an administrative assistant. Fluency in Spanish preferred.

GCSSA is an organization focused on advancing teaching & discipleship in the Upper Midwest. This is accomplished through three conferences a year (September, October, March), a quarterly ministry publication, networking groups, and ministry seminars.
