Job Type: Full-Time
Job Title: Music Minister/Worship Leader
Time Type: Full Time
Job Category: Music Minister And Worship Leader
Organization Type: Faith Bible Fellowship
Denomination: Independent, Bible Church
Worship Style: Blended
Church Size: 250
We are prayerfully searching for a trained, experienced music minister for a growing Bible church. We focus upon expository preaching, a high view of God and God honoring worship. We desire a transcendent worship that produces the fear of God and great joy. Ephesians 5:19 says, "...speaking to one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs...." We desire a blended worship. Psalms come from the Word of God. The hymns teach Bible doctrine and church history. "...spiritual songs..." are modern day choruses. We desire to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Our music pastor must be able to handle all facets of selecting, preparing and leading music for Sunday services, select God focused themes of worship and arrange special music. He must be able to arrange music, manage paperwork, order music and work well with others. Worship must have a sound biblical theology with a high view of God.
He must be able to biblically shepherd the music team, oversee the choir, musicians, etc. The ability to set goals and develop short and long term plans with direction from the pastor and elders is important. He must be able to multitask and delegate.
He must be a mature Christian with a knowledge of the Scriptures and the ability to communicate the truths of Gods Word. The candidate should be elder qualified.
We also desire this individual to assist with our junior high ministry. His primary focus will be in the area of music. However, due to the size of our church flexibility is necessary! We have many young people who desire attention and discipleship.
