We are seeking a top notch performer to manage all aspects of the New Media sales department and its various business units.
The VP will work closely with other department managers/executives to ensure the effective and
efficient execution of assigned goals and objectives. Oversee clients, agency and
customer development to ensure long-term business growth.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; hiring, training, development and management of all personnel, strategic planning and oversee the execution of strategies and tactics to deliver departmental revenue objectives.
New Media Sales focuses on the emerging corporate technologies of Broadband and Video on Demand (VOD); responsibilities include coordinating and integrating sales efforts of current linear network clients and prospects with new, non-traditional television prospects. Expand New Media revenues through new client development and local market emphasis. All forms of new media programming (long-form, short-form, banner advertising, etc.) fall directly or indirectly within this span of management.
Ideal candidate will have a degree in one of the key business disciplines of Business Management or Marketing. Candidate should have at least five years experience in senior sales level management; Working knowledge of Broadband and VOD helpful.
Individual should be a self-starter, results oriented and have a high sense of urgency level. Also, needs to have background in recruiting, training and developing personnel based on corporate need.
