Brief Description:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the After School Program Manager will implement and provide general oversight for the After School tutorial programs. The After School Program Manager will work with a team that includes approximately 20 staff. The After School Program Manager will also serve as an After School Site Coordinator.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Program Implementation:
Design, modification and fine-tuning of new or existing curriculum.
Keep program is in compliance with various regulations
Oversee After School Program budget
Provide general supervision and motivation to tutoring staff.
Monitor classrooms daily to ensure smooth program operation.
Conduct regular meetings with relevant staff to discuss issues pertinent to the success of the program.
Maintain (in collaboration with other staff) an effective discipline plan.

2. Public Relations:
Serve as liaison between education staff and UYI office.
Serve as liaison between Palm Beach Atlantic University and UYI.
Serve as liaison between Prime Time of Palm Beach County and UYI.
Meet with funders as needed.
Work to develop and foster parental participation in the program.

3. General Administrative:
Coordinate matters related to recruitment of tutors and students.
Coordinate matters related to attendance and payment of tutors.
Maintain accurate records of students attendance and progress.
Prepare periodic status reports as required by UYI Program Director.
Attend meetings, workshops, seminars etc. as required.
Plan and conduct in house training sessions for tutors as needed.
Gather data necessary for grant reporting.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for submission to funders.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Education or other related field.
Minimum 4 years experience in educational youth programs (Ages 6-18).
Some supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Computer skills and organization skills necessary.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
