Experienced telecommunication "solutions-driven" executive who has a proven track record of generating significant impact through the strategic and tactical direction of both Outside and Inside sales for voice and data technology. This position is responsible for planning and directing the design, development, and implementation of all marketing and sales systems. The position requires a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in the telecommunications field, and at least five years experience in executive management. This position will report directly to the President/CEO and will serve as a member of the executive team. The ideal candidate has software sales management experience.
Strategic planning and execution of the companys business plan to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the Sales Department.
Ideal Candidate Possesses The Following Skill Sets:
-Developing, forecasting, and tracking sales goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
-Comprehensive and innovative "solutions" consultant.
-Superior communication skills (includes conflict resolution).
-Ability to recruit, train, inspire, direct, and supervise strong-minded individuals.
-Lead and manage all aspects of Outside, Inside, and Facilities sales including overseeing prospecting expectations and funnel management of sales representatives.
-Budget development for the entire Sales Department (includes marketing).
-Ability to research, develop and execute effective marketing plan (expanding our customer base through name recognition, branding, lead generation, and web-site optimization).
-Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of all sales bids/quotes.
-Implement administrative processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
-Ability to present and negotiate complex contracts.
-Naturally develops positive relations with vendors and distributors.
-Tactical interaction with executive team and individual department heads to ensure that the company's operational priorities are aligned with the total company direction.
-Ability to investigate and introduce process/product improvement measures and present suggestions to the CEO for consideration.
-Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
