General office duties such as answering the phone, receiving clients, processing mail, filing, managing the calendar, and typing correspondence.
Provides support to the Financial Advisor in acquiring and servicing clients.
Keep track of state licenses, continuing education, and product specific education.
Contacts companies regarding application/account change or request requirements.
Reviews and submits forms on behalf of clients or prospects and monitors the progress of the submitted application or request.
Prepares client files for annual reviews and/or client meetings.
Obtains account and policy information from a variety of companies on behalf of the clients.
Tracks significant dates associated with clients insurance and annuity products.
Calculates Required Minimum Distributions and assists clients in fulfilling the requirements.
Obtains marketing materials, prospectuses, product kits, and forms and keeps them up to date.
Maintains the Transactions Blotter and Checks Received Log.
Works closely with the Compliance Officer regarding client correspondence, advertising approvals, preparation for annual audits, and other issues.
Run illustrations/quotations for life, disability, long term care and medical insurance.
Strong computer skills, organization skills and ability to work independently a must.
Associates or Bachelors Degree required. Background check required.
