Job summary
The primary duty of this position is to identify and cultivate customer relationships in the Christian academic community. Tasks include demonstrating and selling software to institutions, groups, and individuals from a diverse spectrum of Christianity in a variety of contexts.

Summary of essential job functions
Must be able to interact with and be knowledgeable about a wide variety of Christian groups. Must be aggressive at selling and feel comfortable about doing sales in the Christian marketplace. Must be a self starter and be willing to work with limited supervision. Must be focused on finding new business on an ongoing basis (70%), while at the same time maintaining existing clients and customers (30%).

Minimum requirements
M.A. or other professional degree preferred or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will be a seminary graduate with a minimum of 2 years study of Greek and 1 year of Hebrew and a proven track record in sales.

Abilities required
Up to 80% travel may be required during a few peak months during teh year. Approximately 50% travel is normal. There will be some weekend work. Must demonstrate expertise at using Bible Study software, Windows applications and other computer hardware. Must be very personable and have a servants heart when dealing with people one to one, yet must understand that there is a bottom line. A "consultive" selling approach from a Christian perspective is ideal. Must have organizational skills adequate to plan the many details of conferences, ministries and schools. Must be willing to work long hours in certain venues as needed during peak times.
