Coordinate operations of all audio elements for worship, and audio-visual elements for memorials, weddings, and other church events. Oversee and maintain church sound systems, recording, visual imaging and video equipment.
Personnel/Operations: recruit, train, coordinate and supervise professional and volunteer operation of sound systems for worship and music productions, memorials, weddings, and other events. Consult with church staff and provide personnel lists for operation for other onsite events.
Maintain, and upgrade hardware and software for church sound, recording, duplication, and distribution.
Record, duplicate and distribute recordings of worship services; provide sermons/services and other recordings in appropriate format for posting on web site; duplicate rehearsal and production recordings for Music and Worship Ministry; Consult with church staff for recording, duplication and distribution of events outside of worship, memorials, and weddings.
Manage CD recording and replication of worship services
Coordinate recording of worship services with sound operators
Develop and oversee a team of volunteers to replicate and distribute CDs at Sunday services and fill requests and for homebound ministries
Provide Communications Dept with sermon recording for Web posting
Prepare CDs for high speed Sunday replication
Create library of past services and concerts/special events
Maintain supplies and equipment
Assume initial responsibilities from V.T.P., Music Associate, Congregational Care Associate.
Work in conjunction with I.T. staff, Facilities, Music and Worship staff, V.T.P., Congregational Care, Staff, and Outside Event Coordinator.
Personnel/Operations: recruit, train, coordinate and supervise professional and volunteer operation of visual projection systems for memorials, weddings, and other events. Consult with church staff and provide personnel lists for operation for other on site events.
Assume initial responsibilities from Music Associate, Congregational Care Associate and work in conjunction with music and worship staff.
Passion for serving Jesus Christ through arts and worship.
BA and/or Specialization/Technical Training Certificate in event technologies preferred
Minimum 3 years professional experience in operating/engineering event technologies (sound, still image projection, lights) used in houses of worship or equivalent
Demonstrated excellence in the art of mixing sound
Technological literacy in Mac and PC to operate hardware and software applications as necessary.
Proven project management skills and the ability to work with individuals of varying levels of technological expertise. Proven ability to quickly learn other technical applications.
Ability to coordinate development of training sessions for volunteers and staff, assemble materials, handle logistics and maintain electronic copies of training sessions
Familiarity with various video production software applications including MediaShout and Adobe applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility and experience to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines.
