Job Description:
Growing church is looking for an administrative assistant to support Pastor, department, and committees. Which would include but not limited to oversight of administration for all ministries within the Dept; this includes a comprehensive awareness of all committees, their work and projects as well as coordination and support of that work.
Administrative support for the Associate Pastor, & the Dept.
Manage, initiate, and coordinate the flow of information within the dept. within FPCB
Recruit, train, and nurture volunteers to help support the administration of ministries within the Dept.
Reception for the department visitors, answering telephone calls and assisting persons as needed.
Maintain database profiles and reports for the dept.
Schedule meetings and events including calendaring and work orders.
Oversee program registration, budget transactions, records, and publications.

Must have the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and compose professional documents. Courteous, flexible, prompt, and reliable with close attention to detail. The ability to follow procedures, and have good problem solving skills.

Computer Skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Office products, including outlook, Work, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, and database systems.
Experience as an administrative assistant and in office management.
A personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the mission of First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue with a particular passion for outreach.
Strong organizational and relational skills.
Warm, outgoing and personable in sprit, skilled at working on a team.
Flexible and willing to manage interruptions.
Creative and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
Desire to learn new programs.
Communicates clearly in writing, in person and on the telephone.
Ability to edit for spelling, grammar and form.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Potential to grow into additional responsibilities in administration of mission projects.
