Job Description:
Covenant Shores is seeking a campus marketing director. This position is responsible for the representation and sales for the continuing care retirement community at Covenant Shores, Mercer Island, WA. The Marketing Director accomplishes this by developing action plans and implementing them to achieve new leads, supervising the marketing and sales efforts of a marketing team, and conducting direct sales for the residential apartments.

The successful candidate will have:

Two years advanced education; a college degree is preferred.
Five years experience in marketing, sales, or long-term care environment or a combination of such experience.
Knowledge of marketing concepts with senior adults and an understanding of retirement community lifestyle is necessary.

This individual should be self-motivated, creative, possess a high degree of interpersonal skills and have the ability to relate to the public in a pleasant and professional manner. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate concepts while enabling others to visualize a life at Covenant Shores. Familiarity / compatibility with the mission of Covenant Retirement Communities and the Evangelical Covenant Church are essential. Individual should have supervisory experience including hiring, dismissal, motivation and training of staff, and budget management.

Position requires good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a valid drivers license and good driving record. Applicants must have excellent communication skills (English, oral and written) and ability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Attention to detail and accuracy are necessary. Must have the ability to exercise complete confidentiality of information and work within government guidelines.
