We are recruiting an Administrative Assistant in the Birmingham, AL area who wants to leave a legacy with one of our clients.


The Administrative Assistant will serve individuals within The Oakley Group. Main duties will be to assist and report to the Executive Assistant, organize schedules for all brokers, general bookkeeping duties, and various other diverse duties as assigned. This individual will receive the education of a lifetime as they serve one of the largest and fastest growing real estate brokerage firms not only in Alabama, but around the country!

Our client, The Oakley Group, is a commercial real estate brokerage firm with a primary focus on multi-family brokerage services. The Oakley Group is Alabama’s representative for Berkadia Real Estate Advisors. Berkadia, a joint venture of Berkshire Hathaway and Leucadia National Corporation, is among the largest, highest rated and most respected primary, master and special servicers in the industry.


Job Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist Executive Assistant with any/all duties as assigned

  • Bookkeeping duties

  • Expedite support and maintenance to include site and document creation, uploads,

    scheduling and special report creation

  • Assist Brokers and Staff with maintenance to include scheduling, calendar, outlook

    and reminders

  • Serve as a communication link between Berkadia HQ, Brokers, Clients, and Vendors.

  • Maintain library of approved deals and associated client approvals

Skills/Experience Needed:

  • Ability to set priorities, while being flexible and able to readjust priorities as needed is a must.

  • Professional in manner, dress, and all forms of communication is a non-negotiable

  • Must be highly adept within such computer software as Microsoft Word, Excel, ?

    Quickbooks, Outlook, and Mac computers.

  • Great communications skills including all facets of communication: interpersonal,

    verbal, written, group, organizational, etc.

  • The ability to anticipate needs of others and ultimately get projects completed on time, ?under budget, while exceeding expectations! ?


Base Pay: $30,000-$36,500 depending on experience

Time off: 15

PTO/Sick Days; 9 paid holidays
