Youth and Family Ministries Coordinator

There are many partners in the evangelism and discipleship of youth. The Holy Spirit works through the partnership of the family, church professionals, and gifted volunteers to establish and encourage youth in their faith. Christ the King Lutheran Church is looking for a Youth and Family Ministries (YFM) Coordinator to join our team who will inspire young men and women to establish a living relationship with Jesus Christ, by providing a safe encouraging atmosphere that will equip them for life and sharing God with others. A qualified candidate will:

* Most importantly, have made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and demonstrate the reality of that relationship through their life, testimony, and interactions.
* Recognize a sincere calling to further Gods kingdom through the lives of teenagers in a youth leadership role.
* Relate well with youth and their families and understand the challenges they face today.
* Be able to develop, implement, and direct a comprehensive youth and family ministries program according to a vision set forth by the Holy Spirit through the leadership teams at CTK.
* Show strong aptitude in areas of Christian leadership, fellowship, discipleship, outreach, and personal growth.
* Show professional strengths in self-motivation, public relations, team-work, organization and implementation.
* Desire to continue to grow both as a YFM Coordinator as well as in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this full time position would possess a 4-year degree in Youth Ministry, Bible, Christian Ministries, or related field, 2 or more years of experience in youth/family ministry, mission work, or outreach (paid or unpaid), and intends to make a 3+ year commitment to develop and maintain a YFM program in a growing church.
