Job Description:
DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP
Christian Medical & Dental Associations

Purpose: This position contributes to fulfilling our Mission & Vision by advancing CMDA membership, ministry opportunities, and resources.
Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement marketing strategies, materials and
communications to increase membership, resource sales, advertising
sales, participation in missions and meetings, utilization of placement
services and participation in other ministries
2. Provide counsel and guidance to CMDA ministry leaders in
developing ongoing strategies and systems to increase awareness
and participation in the ministries
3. Attain annual numerical goals for gaining new members and retaining
current members
4. Design strategies and initiate programs to improve member
satisfaction
5. Develop relationships with institutional sources of prospective
members, customers and ministry participants
6. Provide membership statistical reports and trend analyses to CMDA
leadership
7. Oversee membership personnel, budget and systems
8. Perform other duties as required

Position Supervised by: CEO/Senior Vice President

Positions Supervised: Director of Member Services and other
Membership staff

Minimum qualifications:
A personal commitment to the Mission , Vision, Values and Statement
of Faith of the organization
Bachelor degree from an accredited university
Personal integrity
Five years of proven skills in marketing and promotion
Demonstrated goal, service and results orientation
Strong interpersonal and management skills
Ability to contribute to and oversee the development of marketing
materials and tools

Desirable qualifications:
Association membership management experience.
Strong promotional writing skills.
Experience in or knowledge of healthcare field.
MBA or other post-undergraduate training relevant to
marketing.
