TCM International Institute at Haus Edelweiss
This position will be responsible and accountable to the European Vice President through the direct oversight of the European General Manager in pertinent areas of service at Haus Edelweiss and other TCM locations. This is a full-time residence position in Heiligenkreuz, Austria.
General Profile: This person will be expected to have advanced computer training and experience with Windows computer systems, Windows server system administration (including Exchange 2003), networks (including WLAN, routers, and firewalls), webpage and e-newsletter design and management, hardware, and software installation and maintenance.

Information Technology Services
Primary responsibilities and work will be in-residence at Haus Edelweiss in Austria. However, input and general oversight of the development of the computer systems and resources at the Indianapolis office and the European course locations will also be part of the responsibilities of this position. This will likely require short on-site visits to the Indianapolis office and distance consultation with the TCM National Directors.
Develop and maintain an organization-wide IT strategy with necessary proposals, plans, schedules, budgets, and services.
Perform day-to-day computer maintenance and service on hardware/software related installations, applications, and replacements.
Perform and monitor system back-ups, updating, licensing, etc.
Maintain client connectivity and upgrades to the existing Access contact system (e.g., student and bookkeeping records/data, etc.) in consultation with the systems software programmer/consultant.
Develop, maintain, and update the webpage in consultation with the key administrators. Provide direction, recommendation, implementation and maintenance for keeping the TCMII web site engaging with improved functionality and new capabilities that will enhance the students, professors, and staffs usage.
Perform computer hardware/software selection and purchases. Maintain an organized and appropriate hardware/software inventory.
Develop and submit an annual computer budget (usually in early February).
Provide "basic" on-the-job related computer training and assistance to staff members.
Provide "limited" computer assistance to staff and faculty, adjunct and visiting professors, students, volunteers, and invited guests who bring (use) their "personal" computers to Haus Edelweiss.
Work in conjunction with already existing outside computer consultants as needed.
Provide technical assistance to other service areas as needed (e.g., Guest, Facilities, Food, Library, Office, etc.)
Help with other duties as assigned (e.g., transportation runs, outings, errands, special assignments, etc.)
Create and maintain position specific continuity manuals on an annual basis
Maintain regular and consistent office hours
Additional Desired Skills
Develop media products (i.e., video, photo, etc.) in consultation with key administrators that can be used for development and public relations purposes among donors, supporting churches and agencies, volunteers, etc.
