OUR MISSION AND PURPOSE
Pure Life Ministries (PLM) is a non-profit ministry serving Christian individuals and organizations dealing with sexual sin throughout the world by providing biblically based counseling, teaching materials and a public speaking ministry with the goal of leading Christians to victory over sexual sin and into a deeper life in God.
The heart of Pure Life Ministries is to lead people struggling with sexual sin into an encounter with the Cross and all that it represents; the indescribable love of God toward them, the reality of the death of self that it demands, the power of Gods Word to transform, and the entrance into a vibrant spiritual life in Christ Jesus.
For two decades PLM has been a leader in providing help and resources to those addicted and impacted by sexual sin. While the need has grown significantly, the organizations funding base has not kept pace the aggressive goals we have set to meet this need. For this reason, the Donor Development Director is considered a key strategic position at our Administrative Offices in Dry Ridge, KY that must provide God-led direction, leadership and execution in achieving fundraising objectives.
1.Develops and implements effective fundraising strategies to meet the Ministrys annual fund goals.
2.Works with management to ensure effective presentation of the Ministrys capital funding needs, and develops and implements effective fundraising strategies to meet those needs.
3.Directs production of brochures, flyers, newsletters and direct mail campaigns; develops online campaigns, and plans special events as required to accomplish financial goals.
4.Establishes and reports on performance benchmarks in all relevant areas of donor acquisition, retention, and development and evaluates effectiveness of department strategies against established benchmarks.
5.Maintains relations with key donors to build and maintain a positive Ministry image and increase gift levels.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, competitive with similar organization and includes an excellent benefits package.
It is essential that the individual we seek have a passion for the work of Pure Life Ministries, agree wholeheartedly with our statement of faith, and have a meaningful personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Experience should include five and preferably 10 years of fundraising experience with three to five years in a managerial and leadership role, demonstrating an ability to manage and grow a donor base providing at least one to five million dollars of financial support annually. Experience and skill in cultivating and developing major donor relationships and an ability to leverage online giving opportunities are also important to success in this position. Bachelors degree required preferably in marketing, business or finance.
