This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most well-known Bible training organizations in the USA and throughout the world.  For over 40 years, Precept Ministries International has been a global leader in providing wide ranging, impactful Bible study programs, conferences, and materials in 185 countries and 70 languages.  As Precept moves into a new era of leadership and growth both in the US and overseas, there is the need for a new caliber of leadership in fund development.  The next Chief Development Officer will have proven track record of growing and leading a comprehensive development/fund raising effort and be adept at major gift fundraising.


The CDO will be responsible for shaping Precept Ministries’ development strategy, directing departmental staff, and working in concert with a team of professionals in overseeing planning, coordination, and implementation of strategies, personnel, infrastructure, and systems to develop donors and investments to support Precept work around the globe.


Focusing on enhancing the efforts in development/fundraising, he/she must inspire, mentor, and develop key team members, putting together a sound development infrastructure, setting goals and objectives of performance, and monitoring results to ensure new and potential donors are fully engaged and fundraising is reaching it’s potential.


The new CDO will possess the following:


-A proven track record of accomplishment in leading and growing a comprehensive development department raising multi-million dollars annually through best practices in all functions of a development department.

-Ability to add value as a member of the Precept senior management team working collaboratively and strategically on a wide range of issues.

-A proven leader with experience, vision, energy and finesse required to articulate the mission of Precept to a broad range of constituencies and partners.
