The Director of Admissions is responsible for all recruiting and admissions activities of a young, growing, evangelical, non-denominational seminary in SE Michigan.
Develop and implement annual recruitment plans.
Contribute to annual strategic planning process.
Integrate new and emerging technologies in the recruiting and admissions process.
Develop and monitor management reports to enhance recruitment strategies, conversion rates, enrollment forecasting, and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain recruiting and admissions policies and procedures.
Adhere to state and accreditation rules and regulations.
Perform job performance reviews of all direct reports.
Train and develop recruiting support staff.
Prepare annual recruitment/admissions budgets.
Represent the seminary at events related to admissions.
Maintain promotional displays and materials.
Stay attuned to recruitment/admissions best practices.
Develop and implement plans to generate prospects.
Aggressively pursue prospects in a timely and efficient manner.
Accurately and completely present seminary degree programs to prospects.
Provide printed and/or electronic information to prospects, as needed.
Schedule and conduct prospect interviews and facility tours.
Coordinate prospect interviews and class visits with professors.
Monitor registration status of students and follow-up with non-returning students.
Distribute and/or receive applications from prospects.
Coordinate and track submission of required application documentation.
Secure necessary student credentials.
Present qualified candidates to Admissions Committee for consideration.
Consistently conduct timely follow-up with all applicants.
Notify applicants of acceptance/rejection decisions.
Facilitate student registration process with Registrar.
