Small, 25-year-old, family-held company seeks full-charge bookkeeper for full or part-time position. 


Business is travel - planning and leading walking tours in international destinations. Environment is therefore dynamic and demanding - a good place for self-directed person who likes to work independently yet contribute in a team environment.


The bookkeeping work could be part time job once bookkeeper learns our system. Position can therefore be part time or full time depending upon employee's circumstances, skill level, and other abilities/gifts that may plug in well to other parts of operation.


Bookkeeping job duties include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, processing Payroll, General Ledger-double entry a must, Cash Management, Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Data Entry, some Benefits Administration and compiling Financial Statements.


Seeking candidate with 3+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience, strong account reconciliation and general ledger knowledge and proficient in Excel and QuickBooks.

Quickbooks is the accounting software. Applicant must have solid experience with Quickbooks and ability to perform month-end with no assistance and year-end closing procedures with little assistance.


Company prefers to send staff on tour occasionally as perc and to learn business model.


Small business business environment offers opportunities to wear multiple hats.


Must be willing to live in Vancouver, WA, or within Clark County, WA, or commute.
