Job Description:

Hannibal-LaGrange College seeks a professional educator for a full-time teaching assignment in Early Childhood Education (birth through age 8), Elementary Education (grades1-6) in its Bachelor of Science in Education, and/or its Master of Science in Education program.

Qualifications: The applicant must have an earned doctorate from an accredited institution in Early Childhood, Elementary, Reading/Literacy, or Curriculum/Instruction. Teacher certification is required and at least three years teaching experience is preferred. ABD candidates will also be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of the person appointed to this position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervision of student teachers, program and curriculum development/assessment, and advising.

Rank and Salary: Initial rank and salary will depend on educational qualifications, experience, and prior rank. The benefit package includes health and life insurance, long-term disability, social security, unemployment security, workmans compensation, retirement, and dependent tuition concession plan.
