Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI) is a growing on-line employee surveyor, publisher of best practices and organizational development consulting firm serving Christian organizations. As part of our team, you will work with larger churches, universities, parachurch ministries, book publishers, schools and product and service organizations across the United States and Canada.

This position involves using telephone sales skills to establish and cultivate long-term business relationships and pursue outbound sales of our employee survey products, best practice research and consulting. To be successful in this position, you will effectively and efficiently prospect for new accounts and grow our client base. This position is key to achieving our vision that Christian workplaces are the best, most effective in the world. Compensation package commensurate with results. The Job:
Build on your existing knowledge of organizational development, leadership, strategy, human resources, and knowledge management within a Christian worldview
Master information about our surveys, products and capabilities
Develop and cultivate a sales pipeline
Proactively identify leads from multiple sources and develop relationships with prospects, and proactively identify new leads
Ability to sell via telephone and conduct 30 - 50 sales calls a day
Create proposals, marketing materials, and other sales tools
Manage accounts including the selling of additional opportunities
Attend industry related conventions as appropriate
Maintain relationships with industry association representatives
Document sales activities and keep detailed customer histories
Provide detailed pipeline reports on all active prospects

College Degree in Business, Communications or related field experience. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience.

Special Knowledge/Skills Requirements
A proven track record of revenue growth in professional services
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to interface with decision makers, senior management and all levels of employees
Well developed interpersonal relationship and organizational skills
Is a self starter with the ability to prioritize activities and manage time efficiently, a superior work ethic
Proficient with MS Office and ACT or other contact management software
An understanding of business practices unique to Christian organizations
Demonstrated commitment to excellence and continuous learning
