CRISTA Senior Living, a ministry of CRISTA has been a senior care provider for over 60 years. Located in Shoreline, Cristwood offers a full spectrum of care: Independent living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation services. Loving God by serving people is CRISTA's mission and we are looking for an energetic and dynamic candidate who has a passion for seniors and wants an exceptional career/ministry opportunity serving as a Nursing Center Compliance Officer for our skilled nursing facility at Cristwood. Major duties include monitoring all policies, procedures and practices for compliance with State and Federal regulations. Staying abreast of current and changing requirements as proscribed by all applicable regulating bodies and making sure the Nursing Center has procedures in place to ensure compliance with current and changing requirements. Will regularly advise and receive direction from the organization’s General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer concerning all regulatory compliance issues as they arise.

Essential Qualifications:

-Christian Commitment:  Strong personal faith in Christ, demonstrated in behavior and attitude.

Education: Associate degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.  Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

-Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a skilled nursing facility compliance position.

Software and Equipment Used: Familiar with, or aptitude to become familiar with clinical software used in skilled nursing.  Microsoft Office.

-Other Considerations:  •A thorough understanding of all applicable Washington State and Federal laws specific to the operation of a skilled nursing facility. •Must be organized and have interpersonal skills to effectively work well across the organization.
