Trinity Western University Foundation USA is seeking a dynamic, motivated professional to join the Development team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development representative is responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships in the Western US for the purpose of maximizing donor support to achieve the vision and goals of the University.

The Development Representative acts as a resource and catalyst: advising and inspiring a portfolio of individuals on the advantages and benefits of partnering with the University; ensuring that excellent relationships are fostered with donors, prospective donors, alumni, development colleagues and the general public,assisting in promoting the work and needs of the University to the community with the active support of other faculties and business units.

Significant travel within the western US / Pacific NW required - 35%.

General Skills Description:
5 years of demonstrated success in gift development, preferably supporting Annual Fund goals. Familiarity with a university or similar environment is an asset. CFRE designation is highly desirable.

Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong organizational and analytical abilities. Self-starter individual demonstrated success in personal solicitation.
