Job Summary
Supervise the general day-to-day operations of the Top of the House Cafeteria, including menu planning, food procurement, preparation, and staff.

Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and serve lunch to the employees and guests of Nazarene Publishing House
Create a weekly menu that offers a variety of daily options that are appetizing, healthy, and presented in a pleasant manner
Order and maintain a supply of perishables and dry goods as well as serving equipment and disposable service
Maintain a clean environment that exceeds Health Department requirements
Prepare and maintain "at cost pricing" for daily fair
Assist other departments in the planning, preparation, and serving of special luncheons, receptions and coffee breaks
Prepare and maintain a catering menu for special functions
Monitor and approve invoices for payment
Assist the Human Resources staff with the planning, preparation, and serving of company wide events

Cafeteria environment requiring professional appearance
Job Schedule Hours 6:30-3:30
General Office Hours 7:30-4:30.
Cafeteria Hours 9:30-9:45 Morning Breaks
11:30-1:15 Lunch
2:30-2:45 Afternoon Breaks

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Associates degree or 5 years experience in related field
A love for the culinary arts/High level of creativity
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple activities
Ability to lead a team
Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
Must be service minded
