Job Description:
Job Summary
Design, programming, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of complex computerized business systems.

Programmer/Analyst Role
Determine the most efficient method to implement a particular programming task
Estimate time requirements for a particular task based on the programming specifications
Follow Programming Standards Manual, making suggestions for improvement
Participate in the design team for new and redesigned systems
In the context of an assigned task, assume control of the communication with business partner to assure need is met
Anticipate & investigate possible side effect(s) of proposed changes to software systems
Maintain high ethical standards in dealing with sensitive data

Software Support Role
Provide continuing diagnostic support and maintenance for software systems in production
Experience & Educational Requirements/Qualifications

Ability to translate communicated needs of persons not versed in computer terminology or database design into meaningful solutions
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
