Faculty Member - Social Sciences and History

Philadelphia Biblical University's School of Arts and Sciences is seeking a faculty member to teach social sciences and history. In this position, the faculty member would be required to fulfill all regular duties of a university teacher including teaching Fall, Spring, and Summer semester courses, (a total of 24 credit hours per academic year) and fulfill other administrative, advisory and committee-related duties. Applicants should have an interest in teaching introductory level social science and history courses along with various undergraduate courses including but not limited to political science, economics, sociology, cultural anthropology, group dynamics, and world and American history.
The faculty member would also be required to be in agreement with the Universitys Statement of Faith and abide by its standards of conduct. He or she should also be able to articulate and incorporate into their field of teaching a biblically-centered world view.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated excellence in teaching and possess a Masters degree in the related field. A doctorate in the field is preferred, but not required. Faculty rank and pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
