Description: Eastside Academy (www.eastsideacademy.org) is a non-profit, Christian alternative high school (grades 9 - 12) for highly at-risk youth. Eastside Academy is housed on the campus of St. Lukes Lutheran Church of Bellevue and currently serves 30-35 high school students. 90% of all funding is raised in the community.
Purpose of Position: Manage and support Eastside Academys funding and income development functions
Reports to: Executive Director
Relates Closely to: The position relates closely to the Executive Director, Special Events Coordinator and other support and/or contract people assisting with fundraising
Responsible for: Managing staff and volunteers involved with fundraising/development, all fundraising programs and events (current and those to be developed), and coordinating development volunteers and contractors
Continuing Responsibilities: Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership in the ongoing development of the fundraising plan
Manage the marketing, writing and administrative support for the fundraising marketing plan.
Manage the development of Eastside Academys quarterly newsletter; the development and updating of EAs web site and brochures, and additional public relations functions as needed.
Oversee and/or personally perform all grant writing and follow-up.
Prepare, as needed, written reports and appropriate follow-up communications to donors on the financial management and designated uses of their gifts.
Maintain E-database and communications record process of all donors.
Meet weekly with the Executive Director and with the Development Team as needed.

Approximate Salary: $40-45,000
Approximate Time Required: 40-45 hours per week
