Job Description:
Reporting to the Art Director, this person has responsibility for the creation & production of major graphic design projects, such as Priority magazine, & working directly with clients to produce posters, brochures, books, CD covers, & other projects as assigned, collaborating with Art Director & Literary Secretary on various projects by reflecting editorial content through graphic presentation, designing a complete "look" & creating appropriate typography & logos. This person will be called upon to commission photo shoots, obtain quotes from printers & vendors, & is responsible for completing all projects on a timely basis, allowing for review & approval as required. The Senior Designer will also provide design & production counsel to other design staff

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design & a minimum 5 years of heavy hands-on design experience with an agency, studio, or publisher required. Candidate should present a varied portfolio demonstrating strong aesthetic sense & expertise in Adobe InDesign CS, PhotoShop, & Illustrator, in Mac platform. Must have knowledge of pre-press & four-color printing, experience with print vendors & the ability to take projects from concept to finish.
