Communications, PR and Sales Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Marketing this individual is responsible for the successful creation and implementation of the companys communication and PR strategy while marketing company executives services. As a dynamic and growing firm, this position is multi-dimensional--working on unique campaigns and creative projects, as well as maintaining a high level of customer service and sales success.

Overall Roles, Responsibilities and Qualities:

Provide expert level copywriting in both print and online environments.
Provide expert level abilities in creating and implementing an overall communication & PR strategy in all mediums (print, online, radio & TV) which support the companys overall business and marketing plans.
Conduct research for PR strategies, sources and contacts.
Submit and revise company articles into print and online sources to be published globally. Be successful in getting the media to feature CRG nationally and internationally.
Submit and sell company executives as speakers and trainers into conference and corporate events.
Get company executives booked on radio and TV shows.
Be able to manage and run live events and trade shows (event management).
Assist with the technology and systems that supports the entire companys communication strategy.
This is a performance based role and remuneration will be based on results achieved.
Excellent English skills in both written and verbal formats.
Provide a high level telephone, written and in-person communication skills.
Provide systems, processes and procedures which others can follow.
You have a strategic understanding how communications serves the business and clients objectives.
Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire.

Minimum of an undergraduate degree or recognized technical diploma in communications, public relations, journalism or business related experience.
A proven track record with measurable results.
5+ years demonstrable experience at the intermediate level or above.
Expert level of knowledge and experience in creating and implement a communication and PR strategies with strong sales skills.
Understand how database management, methodologies and technologies can support this role.
You possess a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills.
You excel in organizing and managing details while getting results.
You are a natural problem solver and decision-maker.
You are a team player who: listens well, works well under pressure and consistently meets deadlines.
You will be required to provide support to CRG clients--many who are HR professionals with advanced degrees. You will be expected to be able to relate and connect with this group.
You are committed to your projects and have a willingness to put in additional time and effort as required to meet project deadlines and milestones.
You have a proven ability to adapt to emerging technology and learning new communication technologies.

Required Computer Skills:

Type 40-60 WPM, especially proficient in email, Word, Excel, Internet Browsers, Adobe PDF, and PowerPoint. You will be required to use our CRM database GoldMine.

Work Schedule:

Full-time 8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday to Friday. Plus flexibility of working extra hours when needed. Some travel required.
Employment contract/monthly salary base with performance remuneration.
Position available immediately for the right candidate.
All work conducted at CRG Head Office in Abbotsford BC.
