Job Description:
Job Title: Calvary Bible Ministries Business Manager
Reports To: Senior Pastor
Job Summary: Manages financial affairs of Calvary Bible Ministries and maintains all appropriate financial accounting.

* Minimum BS in Accountancy/Finance.
* Minimum 4 years experience as a controller/finance manager.
* General business acumen covering wide variety of areas including taxes, ......budgets, financial analysis, financial statement preparation, banking, financing.
* Non-profit experience preferred.
* Experience with MS Excel, MS Word and Peachtree Accounting software ......preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepare all journal entries.
- Liaison in all cash management matters.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain book value of fixed assets and related depreciation.
- Close financial reports monthly and annually.
- Manage accounts receivable and collections.
- Provide annual giving statements to charitable contributors.
- Coordinate budget process and consolidate into organizational budget.
- Reconciling all bank statements
- Total payroll maintenance activities including writing paychecks, quarterly, & ...annually payroll return preparation and filings, weekly payroll (941) deposits ....through bank electronic transfer.
- Annual update maintenance through the Peachtree Software (payroll).Maintain ...budget/actual variance reports.
- Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Directly supervises employee(s) in the Business Office.
