Development Support Team Leader

JOB PURPOSE: To oversee and coordinate Global Actions administrative Development efforts in the Colorado Springs office, particularly in regard to fundraising programs and field staff support operations.

Responsibilities include interaction with donors, various staff within Global Action, volunteers and vendors.
Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Supervise and coordinate activities of other development support (office) staff.
Manage LifeChangers procedure with the International President.
Manage the Christian Service Charities (CSC) and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) processes.
Oversee daily income processing function.
Provide administrative support to development field staff.
Prepare information for International staff meetings with donors.
Prepare and send out information as needed for development field staff.
Manage a Master Development Calendar in conjunction with Office Calendar.
Prepare monthly activity reports for President & Executive Vice President.
Coordinate development team meetings.
Send out monthly foundation reports for development staff.
Coordinate follow up calls with donors and ensure results are communicated with appropriate field staff.
Arrange appointments for field staff with major donors and major donor prospects.
Schedule travel for international staff visiting for development meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
College degree preferred
A minimum of 2-3 years experience in administration.
A minimum of 2 years experience providing service to customers/clients/donors and coworkers.
Experience with team leadership and daily supervision.
Experience managing a development support team function for an organization focused on major donor fundraising.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office products including Outlook, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Word, and donor data base.
Highly-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Ambitious self-starter.
Positive attitude and ability to look at challenges as opportunities.
Customer service oriented.
Flexible and willing to accommodate changing circumstances and situations.
Available and willing to occasionally work extra hours on evenings and weekends.

Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment.
Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collects, compiles, compares, and prepares work documents, set-up and maintain work files.
Must spend majority of time concentrating on LCD identifying and updating information.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs; retrieving and placing materials on high shelves and on floor-level shelves; standing, walking; carrying; grasping; hearing; seeing; sitting; kneeling; climbing; balancing; stooping; crouching and reaching.
Climate controlled general office environment.
Some travel may be required to attend conferences, meetings, recruiting or foundation sponsored events.
May require availability for overtime hours as required for meeting or conference attending.
