JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: BUCKETS OF LOVE PROGRAM LEADER
Reports To: Director of Program Development
Manages the following positions: BOL Area Leaders
Status: Exempt

JOB PURPOSE: To grow Global Actions ministry and be responsible for the planning, implementing, directing and managing of the Buckets of Love (BOL) ministry program.

GLOBAL ACTIONS EXPECTATION OF AN EMPLOYEE
Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Supports and upholds Global Actions policies and values. Maintains a positive and respectful attitude and acts as a role model within and outside the ministry.
Successfully plans, develops, directs, and manages Buckets of Love Program meeting or exceeding all goals and objectives annually.
Provides supervision and direction to area leaders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures that the BOL program is developed to meet or exceed GAs annual goals and objectives. Successfully meet goals and objectives on an annual basis.
Locates, contacts and meets with pastors, leaders, and other representatives in order to secure agreements to present BoL program to churches and groups. Manages program to distribute, track and collect buckets.
Directs the plans and activities of a minimum of two area leaders. Works to facilitate the communication and interaction among leaders, volunteers, donors, and GA staff.
Tracks program against schedule, budget, goals and objectives. Reports status to President on a regular basis and BOL leadership team on an as-needed basis.
Develops and implements recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
Communicates with donors through written updates, visits, volunteer staff, and other means to provide necessary program status and other information.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Marketing or Sales. Equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum Experience:
Five years successful sales experience.
At least two years of supervisory experience.
Previous program management experience.
Experience in a not-for-profit ministry is a plus.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Must be flexible and able to accommodate changing circumstances and situations.
A passion for sharing the vision of Global Action in a way that influences listeners to participate.
Positive attitude and ability to look at challenges as opportunities.
Knowledge and experience in the area of fund-raising and donor relations project management. Must be able and willing to locate, initiate, cultivate and maintain relationships with pastors, churches and other potential program participants.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
Experience in marketing, budgeting, and people management.
Must be computer literate including proficiency with MS Office applications. Kintera database experience is helpful.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to travel extensively within the US up to approximately 60%. Occasional overseas travel may be required.
