Executive Director - Northwest Christian Community Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the spiritual and organizational leadership and management of the staff, programs and activities of NCCF, a public community foundation offering donor advised fund services located in the heart of Portland Oregon.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of planned giving and the benefit of biblically based financial planning with an excellent ability to communicate comfortably and effectively to high net worth individuals that will motivate action. A record of successful experiences in working with a board of directors, volunteers, donors, professionals and community leaders will be strongly considered.
The position uses working knowledge of business principles, planned giving and tax law to assist individuals, families, corporations, and their churches, ministries and advisors, identify and facilitate opportunities for them to respond to their God-given desire to give generously to Kingdom building initiatives that are important to them. Responsible for developing the strategic business plan that implements the vision for the future direction and growth of the foundation. DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
A Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance or a related area and 3-5 years successful experience in a leadership/management position.
Successful experiences in working with a board of directors, volunteers, donors, professionals and community leaders.
High level of communications skills, both written and oral.
Basic knowledge of business/financial models and proven business/financial aptitude and acumen.
Good understanding of planned giving and the benefit of good biblically based financial planning.
Ability to comfortably and successfully relate to high net worth individuals.
Ability to communicate gift opportunity concepts in a way that will motivate others to respond with action.
Excellent sales/presentation skills with the ability to tenaciously follow up on leads until "closing".
