POSITION TITLE:                            School Administrative Director

EFFECTIVE DATE:                          August 2015      

POSITION SUMMARY:                    To provide leadership and oversight of a new Bilingual K-12 school in                                                              alignment with the Board driven values, mission and vision.


           Reports to:                            School Board, National Director

           Supervision given:               Teaching Staff, Administrative personnel             



  • Bachelor of Education (Master’s preferred)
  • Proven experience leading individuals and teams
  • Evidence of administrative and leadership competency
  • Experience with curriculum development


  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement healthy team dynamics
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze a problem, strategize for change and execute a  plan
  • Have a strong and growing knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)


  • Mature with sound judgement and professional skills
  • Philosophy of life and lifestyle that aligns with the policies and objectives of TeachBeyond
  • Team player, positive outlook, love for people


  • Hire, train and develop qualified school teachers (both local and expatriate)
  • Assist in developing a sustainable business model
  • Collaborate with the School Board to identify and achieve short/long term objectives
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for the School Board
  • Manage a monthly, quarterly and yearly budget
  • Manage class scheduling and teacher availability
  • Supervise administrative and teaching  staff and provide bi-annual reviews
  • Lead effective weekly staff meetings
  • Develop a positive, fun and effective working and learning environment that meets international standards
  • Develop a bilingual curriculum that meets international standards & the local Ministry of Education requirements
  • Develop a school manual outlining policies and procedures for administration, teachers and students
  • Develop a coherent and effective structure for student discipline that meets international standards
  • Meet prospective and current parents to assist in recruitment purposes and deal with parent concerns and questions
  • Develop a framework for extra-curricular actives
  • Develop and oversee a marketing strategy for yearly recruitment
