Responsible for performing a variety of finance administrative functions that support the CFO/VP of Finance.
Provides administrative assistance to the CFO/VP of Finance.
Serves as liaison between CFO/VP of Finance and supporting departments (IS, HR and Accounting).
Responsible for the administration of 401k plan.
Coordinates annual 401k plan audit and records minutes.
Responsible for the administration of property and casualty insurance.
Responsible for agency filings, and tax returns under the direction of the CFO/VP of Finance.
Prepares credit applications, government and agency reports, vendor reports, memos, payment approvals, and other financial documents as appropriate.
Coordinates with outside vendors, consultants and contractors under the direction of the CFO/VP of Finance.
Responsible for maintaining financial, tax and legal record retention.
Manages Finance office needs, such as filing, replenishing supplies and processing mail, operating and maintaining office equipment. May recommend new or additional equipment as appropriate.
Provides assistance to the Controller as needed.
Actively supports and participates in staff spiritual life activities, including staff devotions and staff retreat.
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college and a minimum of a year or more related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have administrative support experience.
Must have strong computer skills.
Must be a self-starter.
Must be able to handle confidential matters with excellence.
Must have excellent people service skills, with the ability to provide service and streamline processes without compromising the integrity of the department or Forest Home and its policies and procedures.
Must be able to accomplish assigned projects utilizing highly developed communication (written and verbal), project management, time management and collaboration skills.
Must demonstrate the ability to perform high quality, detailed work.
Must demonstrate regular, timely attendance.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with excellence.
Maintains a walk with God displayed by Christian character.
Maintains a Christ-like attitude of service with the intent of blessing others in the name of Christ.
