We are looking for a highly relational leader and pastor/shepherd to ensure the vision of reaching every man, woman, and child in Greater Austin with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ is being advanced and lived out in the lives of young adults in
our church and in our community. This person will own the strategy and ministry plans for growing a vibrant, evangelistic community that is moving steadily toward a goal of 1000 college and young adults. They will be a life long learner and a leader of leaders
who can build authentic relationships, help people take next steps spiritually, effectively develop and empower others, relate, communicate and live life with churched and unchurched, and model incarnational living and personal evangelism.
The story of Hill Country Bible Church Austin is a powerful testimony to God’s goodness, provision and grace. Though Him and for His glory, we have seen thousands of people place their faith in Jesus Christ, have planted 23 churches and continuously develop
and deploy leaders into our city, nation and world. To reach more people, our Lakleline Campus launched a multi-site campus (video venue) in the Steiner Ranch community of Austin in 2009. We are launching a third campus in the Brushy Creek neighborhood in
January of 2015, with plans to launch a fourth campus in Leander later in the year. We are one church in multiple locations with an average weekly worship attendance of over 6,200 and a staff of 100+.
We think Austin is an amazing place to live, work and serve - it's also one of the fastest growing cities in the United States with high influence in education, government, technology, art and music. We believe God has strategically placed us here for His
purpose in reaching every man, woman and child in Greater Austin with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ.
We place a high value on small group community, developing the next generation of Christ followers, partnering with others in the city, and personal evangelism. Our staff core values include passion, integrity and incarnational living. We believe there’s
nothing greater than the joy of being a part of God’s work and mission in our community, city and world. To learn more about the Young Adults Pastor position, visit our website at HCBC.com, or click this link to our employment page at http://www.hcbc.com/about-us/employment/
