We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to add to and support our quality initiatives.


Job Description Duties include:

o Supervision of inspections at all phases of the manufacturing and delivery processes
o Assist all site functions and personnel with quality-related questions
o Drawing & Specification Interpretation
o Manage departmental workload to support on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction
o Hands-on inspection as needed
o Communicate with customers, auditors, and suppliers as necessary
o Product Audit Management
o Address Quality Department employees with personnel issues as required
o Generate annual performance appraisals
o Team building,cCoaching, and mentoring
o Customer Interface addressing Quality and Quality Management Systems issues
o Support and continued development of corporate QMS
o Internal Quality Management Systems Audits (AS9100)
o Quality Improvement Management (Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
o Training (Quality & Safety)

Knowledge and Skills desired but not mandatory:  


Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers

Experience in the inspection of parts to customer drawings and specification

Knowledge of inspection gages

Experience with all aspects of Quality functions, including raw material inspection

Knowledge of customer engineering specifications

Computer skills, which shall include MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Committed to customer service, quality, and continuous improvement


Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Previous quality assurance experience.
