Director of Christian Leadership Education for Rorheim Institute

Awana is an exciting, growing Christian ministry organization. With our passion for children and young people, we assist local churches in reaching them within their community for Christ. Located in the northwest suburb of Streamwood, Illinois, we provide support to over 10,000 churches nationally and over 3,000 churches internationally.

We are currently seeking candidates for our Director of Christian Leadership Education for the Rorheim Institute. The goal of the Rorheim Institute is to equip churches with leaders who have cultivated a sound biblical worldview with the additional benefit of college accreditation and the shepherding skills to infuse this worldview into the young people in their sphere of influence.

The Director will establish strategies for the direction, expansion and fulfillment of the Institutes objectives; maintain a 5 year development plan; oversee the development of all training materials; create and maintain conference schedules, logistic plans and development of associated materials; establish partnerships and create joint ventures with Christian leaders and organizations; and develop and maintain relationships with our missionary constituency to ensure a seamless integration of the Institutes direction with existing strategies.

We require a doctorate degree, with a minimum of ten years experience in adult Christian education or other adult ministry. Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; possess an excellent track record of growing adult education programs and proven public speaking skills.
